]]> http://bcpboquete.com/oktoberfeast-is-coming/feed 0 Child Prodigy Pianist to Perform at BCP http://bcpboquete.com/child-prodigy-pianist-to-perform-at-bcp http://bcpboquete.com/child-prodigy-pianist-to-perform-at-bcp#comments Sun, 21 Nov 2010 21:09:23 +0000 BCP http://bcpboquete.com/?p=1945 Last June a 2 day performance was held as a fundraiser for Manolito Sanguino, the 11 year old Boquete resident, to raise funds for his trip back to Utrecht, Holland where he will continue his musical training during his school break here.   He’ll be leaving on December 28th, and BCP will host a one night performance to help fund his travel and expenses while in the Akademie Muzikaal Conservatory in Utrecht.     If you attended his June performance, you’ll want to return for more thrilling moments and if you missed the June performance, here’s your chance to experience this amazing talent.   I’m sure you’ve heard from friends how fabulous it was…..so join us this time.

The program will include compositions by Schubert, Clementi, Beethoven, Mozart, Waldteufel, Bozza, Brubeck and some Christmas Songs as well.   John Dodge will join the last part of the program, in a saxophone duet with Manolito.

Please support this amazing young talent and help me grow in his art by purchasing a ticket to attend the concert.   Tickets go one sale at Mail Boxes Etc. in Boquete and David on December 6th for $12.   There will be a donation jar on the bar for additional contributions to this worthy young man.
