Nominations Are In….Official Election Info

The BCP Council nominations are complete and below are those wonderful folks who have stepped up to serve as your 2010/2011 Council (and in some cases, 2010/2012).

President  -   Dave Ross  (running unopposed – 2 year term)

Vice President   -  Jack Bute  AND Jerry Wager  (vote for one  – 1 year term )

Secretary  -  Judy Isham  AND Sandi Stephens  (vote for one – 2 year term)

Treasurer  -  Jerry Gaspard  (running unopposed – 2 year term)

Operations Director  -  Vicki Phelps  (running unopposed  – 1 year term )

Creative Director  -  Leara Clausing  (running unopposed  – 1 year term)

Marketing Director  -  Penny Ripple  (running unopposed  – 1 year term)

Prior to the August 1 election, you will be receiving short resumes of all candidates so you can get to know more about them before voting for those running in competition (Vice President & Secretary).

The Annual Meeting (and election process) will open at 1:00 pm.    Candidates in contested council positions will have an opportunity to address the members at the beginning of the meeting. Voting will take place throughout the first hour while BCP business is conducted.   The voting will close at 2:00 pm., and the business meeting will continue and should conclude at or before 3:00 pm.   Votes will be counted  starting at 2:00 pm, and results will be announced at the close of the meeting.

Dues must be current, and everyone must check in at the Membership Table.   You can join (if not already a member) or renew (if your membership has expired) at the Membership Table.

Members may vote absentee ballot before 5:00 pm on July 31st by emailing Vice President .  Please provide brief explanation of why you are unable to vote in person (i.e., illness, out of town, etc.)
