If you’ve had great theater experiences over the past year at the BCP Theater, you can thank the untiring efforts of Susan Thoms, the 2009/2010 Creative Director of BCP.
Susan not only became involved in the renovation work on the new BCP Theater & Events Center…..she then put her shoulder to the wheel to create theatrical productions and events that gave us all joy and laughter. She guided cast and crew in such productions as GOD’S FAVORITE by Neil Simon, REFLECTIONS (a musical memoir of the sixties), the GOLDEN CRAB MYSTERY DINNER THEATER (written by Jerry Wager), DOUBT by John Patrick Shanley, LOVE LETTERS by A. R. Gurney, and THE PREMATURE CORPSE by Mike Johnson.
In addition, she acted in the Jim Hatch productions THE VAGINA MONOLOGUES and ELEEEMOSYNARY, written by Lee Blessing, and SOCIAL SECURITY which was directed by Ellie Simon.
Susan has brought tons of fun to BCP with her four year stint teaching the Improv Group and this last year presenting the Lunatic Fringe Improv Theater at the monthly Friday night Happy Hour at BCP.
Susan has always enjoyed the cooperative effort of working with a group to create entertainment for the pleasure of others. She enjoys developing talent in the community, and looks forward to attending future BCP Productions. Susan is on her way back to the US to visit family and friends, and looks forward to returning and being involved with the theatrical community of Boquete.
